The Private Market Index (PIX) is an equal-weighted composite index calculated from all 25 listed private company momentum indices. Each index launches at 100 and moves based on excess momentum relative to that company's own 12-month baseline. PIX rises and falls when the private market broadly is either accelerating and decelerating.
